It would be nice. When I do MakeMenu, nothing happens that I can discern.
Are you running it on Vista? Cuz I am.Comment

You probably going to kill me ... but I have to agree with Miles ... TW is like Greek to me and believe it or not I speak Greek ...
I tried it a long time ago ... I get it to work reading thru the instructions ... and jotting down my own ... so finally after pulling my hair for several hours ... I get it to work ... kinda ... later I try it with my notes ... and nothing.
May I make a Suggestion .. can we BEG "CYNTHIA" to write a "Dummy-Proof" guide for TitleWriter ... she is the BEST at this sort of things.
TitleWriter is a Great Piece of SW ... I just think is too advanced for my little pee-brain. Kinda like VirtualDub.

Miles Ahead -- is the icon greyed out -- if so click Menu>>Remove All Menus... (Might not hurt to do that anyway)
And do you see Vts_Tile ... No Menu Selected when Clicking Menu ->Text icon
(should come up on the Menu Selection screen)
Does DVDShrink open your compiliation -- if not then its not compliant (badly authored Tw only deals with some badly authored)
Vista Shouldn't matter - or I would have heard about it long before thisComment

I dunno'. It's been awhile since I attempted using it. Seems like I remember everything goes along as expected in the guide, then you get to the last step and nothing. It doesn't write any files. I'll have to try it again before I can remember exactly when the trail of breadcrumbs ends.Comment

You probably hit Create Menu (Which allows you to play games in TW main ex --using original menus). You want Create Menu And Add it
TW Make Menu does just what it says
Create Menu and add it (creates the menu)and add it part pushes the Save Changes button in TW main (Where the menu is actually inserted into the compiliation)
PS pls respond in TW's thread -- Getting afield hereComment

And guys, this really does work and there's no greek to it. FA always answers questions about TW promptly.

FAVC Error Code
Hi guys,
I have a laptop which unfortuantely came with Vista Home Premium 64-bit.
I have tried FAVC 1.07 64-bit and 32-bit and no go keep getting ERROR.
I tried FAVC 1.06 32-bit and no go.
I tried FAVC 1.06 64-bit ... it works half way goes thru some operations and I have click go or stop ... but never get an output DVD.
Q1: Is there a limit to the Size of an AVI that FAVC like to see? I am more intersted in the Smallest AVI that I can feed FAVC ... for testing purpose?
Q2: Has anybody have any luck running any versions of FAVC on Vista 64-bit?
Thanks,

a couple of suggestions
My suggestions would be
a) on the first page of FAVC under Working Files bullet "keep"
b) after things go bad look through the working folder for info
and see if you can get the attention of Mr_Odwin on the Doom9
forum.
I haven't run into what you describe. I always get a partial VIDEO_TS
folder when it craps out on my system. It sounds like some other problem.
I have Vista 32 bit so if it's 64 bit specific Mr_Odwin may be your best bet.Comment
