New SVCD2DVD Release 2.5.5000
I haven't exercised it yet. New feature is AVS Wrapper for "assets"
I guess meant to load video files not directly supported by an installed
codec. Requires the new 2.58 AviSynth release for that feature.
I did run it on a tiny avi clip just to make sure it started up and ran to completion on Vista. Looks good so far.
It's not the fastest avi => dvd converter but it's best for what it's named for. If you like foreign films/tv shows and have some on VCD or SVCD it's a streamlined way to put several on one DVD disc.
