Does anyone know how to fix corrupted avi/divx/mpeg movie files? Say I have a couple of movies encoded in the above formats, but I can't play them in Windows Media Player because they are most likely corrupted. Some of them can be recognized by MovieID 1.02 and some of them cannot. Is there any program out there (preferably free) that can fix these corrupted files, like cutting out corrupted frames then inserting extrapolated frames, and fixing the file structure so that they can be played back? Thanks for any help.

Playtime incorrect after DivFixing
DivFix 1.(0?)7 doesn't do good fixing in my opinion. I accidentally shut down the PC while converting with XVid (2-pass). The resulting file was unplayable by VirtualDub. After a little fiddeling with DivFix it was (index rebuilt), but shows a total length of 14 secs, which is rather short for a 520 MB file. WMPlayer won't play more than those 14 secs. Resaving with VirtualDub doesn't change anything.
