Picture in Picture

Does anyone know how to create a picture in picture video and what kind of software does it? I have 2 videos of a buddy burning out his tire on his bike and the videos were taken from each side of the bike. I would like to edit these videos and sync them so that you can see both at the same time in the same video.

You should be able to do something like this with avisynth, using the stackhorizontal function.

But of course I have absolutly no experience with this.

Thanks KHP, by the looks of it this should work perfectly if I can fuigure out the right command to type in.
