Here's what works for me. Very similar to UncasMS. Once it is installed rahzel, just run eclexe to setup eclpro. There's a pretty good readme that comes with it, too. C:\Program Files\DVD-RB PRO\Encoders\EclPro\readme-ProCoder2.txt

i must say, i'm starting to like ProCoder. it is considerably slower than CCE, but since CCE can't run 2 encoder instances and PC can, it makes it only about 10-15 minutes slower (on mastering quality) than CCE with my 3800+ X2 at 2.75ghz.

i've only done some lower bitrate encodes, though... i'm gonna try some higher bitrate stuff now.

Well my ProCoder 2.0 came today from UPS.All I have to say is WOW!!! it's very fast and the quality is excellent I tried it out on the Sopranos Season 1 and I was very impressed it didn't leave blocks in parts of show like AQE and HC did .If you guys have any suggestions on the settings please let me know I have DVD rebiulder set on mastering quality is there any thing that needs to be changed in Procoders Transcoding settings or do I just keep it as it is.

Fast? No, it is quite slow at mastering quality. I get 30 fps but I am OC'ing an Athlon 64 3800+ to 2500Mhz.

Keep everything as it is. Change IDCT to skal if your processor handles it. And DO use multiple encoder processes if your CPU can handle it.

Forget about matrices - Procoder uses it own. Just make all of them default.

Worth the $$ isn't it? Especially at half price

- Overall Bitrate : 2,580/2,064Kbs
- Space for Video : 3,142,710KB
- HIGH/LOW/TYPICAL Bitrates: 2,748/786/2,064 Kbs
