Updating to HCEnc 18

Just downloaded new vwersion of HCEnce version 18. I was using version 17 with DVD Rebuilder. How do I change DVD Rebuilder so I will be using version 18 to encode?

Change the name of HCEnc018.exe (or whatever) to HCbatch.exe and put it in the HC Encoder sub-folder of your Encoders folder under your DVD-RB folder.

Delete version 17 from the folder?

Les, I changed the name to HCbatch.exe from HCbatch018.exe and put it in the folder. Do I then delete the previous version 17 from that folder. I tried to back up a DVD and I see version 17 was still being used. So I went into the folder and removed version 17 but I then got a message saying DVD RB couldn't find the encoder????

delete the old hcbatch and rename hcenc018 to hcbatch (without the .exe).

dvd you have DVD-RB running while you changed to v0.18? perhaps you just had to restart DVD-RB.

Adding this entry to rebuilder.ini works for me:

HC=[put your path in here]\HCenc_018.exe
