Encoder settings?

I want to take the plunge and experiment w/ DVD-RB (freeware v). I've down loaded the 'installer' but haven't installed it yet.
Of the encoders that come w/ it, which one should I try and what 'settings' should I use? I'd like to try it on a backup I ripped RUNNING SCARED.

There aren't too many settings to tweak if you're just trying it out.
Run with HC encoder, and set quality to Best.

You might want to use HC 19.1 available at:

(To install, extract to "DVD Rebuilder/Encoders/HC Encoder" - make a backup of the existing directory for reference, copy/rename "HCenc_019.exe" to "HCbatch.exe")

I'm following eatcaramels BEST w/ the HC19.1 (Sorry ed, missed your post. I'll do yours next pass. Got to read up on what the options do).
