I always use mastering quality, TR. I encode at 30 PAL fps (20% better than real time) using an Athlon 3800 X2 o/c'ed to 2500Mhz and 1Gb of Corsair 2-3-3-6.
Sorry tech wasn't snubbing you it's been a while since I checked this thread.But to answer your question I think it took a little over 2 hours.I had Pro Coder set at Mastering Quality and I used removegrain mode 2
I was never thinking that way, so its OK and blu always calls me as TR

I searched on more info on this and found that the mastering mode is
- upto 10 times more time consuming
- applies Chroma shift and filters to the picture, might be bad on home made video's
and what is the Quality difference between the Highest and Mastering in terms of Quality, as someof the tests posted on other forums between the two showed only an increasein brightness in the pictures but claritywise both looked same.
