1st DVD: Silence of the Lambs, R1, Special Edition-Widescreen:
a): I did pre-processing (full rip w/ RI4M, and vobblanker).
Did it a second time:
b): Full rip w/RI4M with but stopped after DVDD completed the rip. No further processing w/ RI4M or fixvts.
2nd DVD: Great Spy Movies, Multiple regions. Full rip w/ RI4M, processed to completion including fixvts, and vobblanker.

I just ripped the Great Spy Movies DVD using DVDD alone as it has no significant protection (open OK w/ shrink). I did no additional processing of any kind. DVDRB Pro gave same error.

I'd recommend you uninstall DVD Rebuilder and AVISYNTH. Then run the DVD-RB Full Installer. It will reinstall AVISYNTH. The fact that you are getting an error that no one else has reported (and on more than one disc) makes me think that either your setup is corrupt or that some sort of preprocessing is causing the problem.
I would be wary of that value. Here's the calculation:
(2265000 * 2048) * 1.015 = 4708300800
That's 4.38GB. So if you use that value and DVD-RB sizes perfectly, you are going to create an output folder that is too big to fit on a DVD-5. Using that value assumes you will always undersize.
Note: The 1.015 multiplier adjusts for the 1.5% overhead required for packing into a VOB format.
