    Yes I also thought I would not be able use DVDRB, especially cuz it was taking so long. But after ripping my owned THE Descent movie and after approx. 6hrs overnight process the results are stunning IMHO !!
    I have a ?, I'm using the the free version for now till I get familiar with prog. in the settings should the path to HC encoder be displayed? cuz it only shows Rj and qc encoders. I do have HC in my dvdrb folder. I've deleted my log accidentally and I'm not sure if HC was used to encode. TIA

    Sorry if posted in wrong forum fellas and Gals, just excited bout DVDRB!!!!

      First you open DVDRB then select Mode\Encoder\HC Mode then go to Settings\HC Settings\Quality\Speed Selection and select Best

        If HC is enabled on the MODE menu, then it's fine. By default DVD-RB looks at the location where the Installer put it. You can use the PATH variable in the setup dialog if you want to force DVD-RB to use another version located elsewhere.

            You normally should get an e-mail with links within 5-10 minutes. Make sure you check your "Junk" folders if you have one... a lot of these anti-SPAM packages are out of control.

            [Edit] I just checked and sent you an e-mail (at least I assume it was you). It was mailed at 9:44am EST. You should have received it by now.

                They work independently of each other -- so it won't matter (as long as you don't try to run more than one copy of CCE at the same time). If you open a .RBD file by double clicking on it, the Pro version will be executed as the default.

                  @jm164,

                  yes menushrink is the way to go when backing up but I just wish the studios would reduce the size of the menus so the movie can be at a higher bitrate. I don't care if the menu is in mothion, seems like a waste when what you really want to see is the movie.

                          If you have 5.1 on your original DVD it will have 5.1 after its done on DVD Rebuilder.If you talking about making a stereo DVD in to 5.1 then I don't think Rebuilder does that.You will have to find a sound editor to do that. I think Nero does it
