Recommended way of testing:
Make sure that our burn engine is compatible with your dvd-writer. First start with rewritable disks (-RW or +RW) and when this works test recordables (-R or +R).
Test the resulting disks on all players you are going to use.
Test multiple titles if possible, not just one. Use titles of different manufacturers.
