What is Super?

Hello,

What is Super? Is for DivX/XviD encoding? Is for burning? I know the last topic I made about ImgBurn I did not have a compatible player but about a month or so ago I got one. It was on sale, it is a philips. What can Super do? If it's for burning or encoding, is there tutorials? Can it load DVD and convert to DivX or XviD? I used the word convert but that really means encode.
