Better still, run new software in the sandboxie until you are happy or not.

Yes, I was lazy with this. Still, I haven't notice anything nasty yet, neither Kaspersky AV nor TrojanHunter have redflagged it, and it still works fine even when I've disconnected from the Net, and so I only need to clean it out when I'm ready to move on up quality-wise. Thanks for the reply, it sounds like it will easier to get rid of than something truly hideous, like anything from Norton for example.

Some folks make it out to be nastier than it is. IIRC, it does leave some stuff behind, but I don't think it takes over the PC or anything like that.

Yes, He did alright. Pity it was against Bangalore, though. I'm Anglo-Indian by descent, and that's where some of my family still live.

I don't wish to hijack the thread; but yes, I am with you on this one Blu. I am (unlike most of my countrymen who follow the game) extremely annoyed with this IPL.

BTW, stuartnz, you can find the names of the files left behind by SUPER even after uninstallation in post 8 of this thread. If the registry cleaners cannot remove them you can delete them manually from System 32 folder(remember to unhide the hidden files first).

Thanks for the tip about cleaning up SUPER. As for the IPL, it is my profound hope that the money they make from that circus will allow players to continue playing REAL cricket - Test matches. Without an infusion of cash, that most beautiful and strategically intricate form of the game is going to die, I fear, and that's why I hope that the cricketing version of kaun banega crorepati will help keep the 5-day game alive.

They are nearly the same, effectively, in my country. Give them enough of it and the "public" tend to forget the real issues. A fraction of the money from an IPL circus(not the cricket part of it) is enough to feed a 4 member poor family in my land for an year. But who cares? Enough of it Blu. We should not discuss it too much in this thread.

I use it quote a lot. It's great for running apps safely (and lots of other things ). Just remember to put the sandbox on your fastest drive.
