TMPGEnc DVD Menu Help

I have V1.6 with the AC3 plugin. When I create the DVD I have audio. I
am trying to use a motion menu, it appears, but there is no sound on the clip in the menu. I have the audio compression format at MPEG-1 Audio Layer-2 and have the BGM box checked. What am I doing wrong???????

what type of audio does the clip have that you are using for the motion menu have?

The clip is Dolby Digital, 48000 Hz, Stereo 256Kbps

try to encode it first with TMPGEnc plus, then it will work.

And as which audio type: CBR or VBR, Linear PCM, or MPEG1-Layer 2?

btw have you tried to play this in another player or on the pc? one of my players will not happily play back TMPGEnc motion menu while the rest do it fine...

Thanks, but the files I'm working with are VOB files, and virtual dub won't open them.

Tried play back on my PC and on a DVD player. The DVD part plays just fine, just no audio on the menu clip.

what is the error it gives you? cannot locate decompressor...?

Actually don't get any error, just no audio. You see the clip playing in the menu, but there is no sound
