    Problems with MPEG-2 to AVI

    Whenever I try to load the MPEG-2 file as the source file I receive the following error:

    File "C:\Live TV\File Name.mpg" Can not open, or unsupported

    Has anyone else received this error and shine some like on this for me?

      this can happen with a ready-compliant mpeg-2. if you wish to make avi, IMO TMPGEnc isn't the answer. try virtualdubmod.
