Two audio streams on one mpeg

I have recently started to use TMPGEnc (great software) so I still don't know it too well. I was wandering if I can take my avi file (with only one audio stream) and add a second audio stream (I produce myself) so as to end up with an mpeg file having two streams.

TMPG Author 2.0 allows the inclusion of 2 audio tracks when you author a DVD.

I refuse to belive that with so many "audio extractors" there is none that can actualy add tracks...

I have never tried this but it might work.

IFO Edit or Muxman as the authoring program. Just add the two audio streams in the audio portion instead of one audio stream.
mpeg2 (DVD) not AVI

Minimum of video & audio input for the programs to author properly. Subtitles and chapter text not needed to work properly.
Freeware programs.

virtualdubmod should do it streams?>stream list

with virtualdub you can replace the sound track, but you cant add one more to already existed one...unless there is some hidden option that I'm not aware of...
