pixilating problems

Hello again, I am using TMPG DVD Author 2 and am having poblems with pixilating. I have downloaded a video using FUSION, and backed up onto my hard drive as a MPG2, and the file is approx 6.2gb (movie approx.2 1/2 hours). I plan to backup on to 2 dvd 4.7's, as it has an interval.

I always use PAL, and in the cut-edit mode, the fames for the whole file are pixilated. I have very occasionally had this problem and in the past, I run it through again and the problem has dissapeared, but not this time. I sometimes wonder is it the size of the movie???

if only happens on big files,maybe chek your memory?

Thanks for your reply, it doesn't necessarily only happen on big files, and not all big files ???? It's a puzzle........Alan
