    TMPG 3, change background

I am using TMPG DVD Author 3 with DivX Authoring

When I am on the "Menu" section and I click "Edit Menu" near the bottom and then I click "Change background and audio for all menus", I get an error that says "Read Error Occurred at Address 07925BFB of module 'VMESys.dll' with 00000004"

I am trying to change the background of my top and track menus...can anyone help me?

    Thanks!

I remember seeing on another forum that if you have Microsoft animated cursor vulnerablity update KB925902 installed, the 'Edit Menu' button won't work - you get an error in Win XP.
    Fix is to uninstall it.

To change the background, go to the "page editor" for that menu, right click on the background image (on somewhere where there isn't already an item) and the "background and audio settings" options are there.

Hi, I am having the same issue as iceebear19727

I am using TMPG DVD Author 3 with DivX Authoring, it works great, but there is no way it let me use my own images or backgrounds, as I get the following errors:

When I try to change the background for any page: "Read error occurred at address 06975BFB of module 'VMESys.dll' with 00000004". Then I click 'OK' and when I choose any image for background it says: "Read error occurred at address 0069C969 of module 'TMPGEncDVDAuthor3.exe' with 00000000". I get this same error when I try 'Add a picture item'.

I tried re-installing the software, with the same results.

Also I tried both advices from katana an admin, but it still doesn't work

Any other ideas on this? Please help.

        Thank you!
