Does anyone recommend TMPGEnc DVD Author?

Does everyone recommend TMPGEnc DVD Author to author DVD's? If not then what freeware tool does someone recommend?

Try DVD Flick and FAVC first. If these don't give you what you want (eg. fancy menus), then TMPGEnc DVD Author is alright, better than Nero Vision anyway.

For more serious DVD authoring, you will have to look at DVD-Lab Pro and Vegas DVD Architect.
