Problems Finding Main Movie

I am ripping P90X 13 DVD series to Divx (for personal use so I don't destroy the DVD's pulling them in and out of the cardboard case they are in) and I have ripped all the way up to DVD 7.

I insert DVD 8 and all it can read is the 1 minute 36 second intro on the DVD. It can not find the main movie (the workout) on the disc. I have tried ripping the "main movie" itself, only to have TMPGEnc tell me it is an invalid format and can not read it. (all the other discs were fine).

I used DVDFab 5 to rip the disc and "main movie" w/ no luck. I loaded AnyDVD to have TMPGEnc read directly from the disc w/ no luck.

I am at wits end. Anyone have any idea why this may be happening?

please observe rule # 19 - Discussions regarding decryption/ripping of DVDs or other types of media is prohibited, as is the discussion of tools that can be used for decryption/ripping (eg. DVD Shrink, FixVTS ...)
