Hi, I'm new to the forum.
I just bought a Phillips DVDR3576H to put my VHS home videos onto DVD.
The Phillips does it pretty good, but the titles and menus are a little lacking.
I downloaded the trial version of TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 to see what I could manage to crank out....but when I get my menus the way I want, and try to burn my work back to a DVD, I get the message that the output is too large for a 4.7 GB dvd.
If I remember correctly, the properties of the disc in Windows Explorer states that it is 4.35 GB....
Is the Phillips filling up the disc to the point to that adding anything else like flashier menus from TMPGEnc makes the video too large to put on a standard DVD?
