6 files as thumbs on just one menu page..how ?

    Hi,

    TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4.0.2.14

I have 6 episodes of a programme and simply wish to have the dvd menu show just one menu page when Playback stops of the 6 thumbnails all on that one page, so that the user can select an episode and play it.

Upon insert of dvd it is to play the first episode then go onto the second then third etc. That aspect I can see how to do, Disc Insert Action is Play all Tracks, and Track Playback End Action is Play next Track.

Whats baffling me is TMPGenc Authoring Works talks of Top Menu and Track Menu, each has a choice of thumbnails.

Each episode I have is a separate mpg file.

    I need to know:-
    1) do I create a project with 1 track and 6 files for it, or 6 tracks each with one file ?...does it matter ?
    2) When choosing Menu creation I like to go custom so as to decide on my own nav buttons, frames and backgrounds. It asks me to choose a Top menu appearance, I choose 6 thumbnail in list at left then decide on a menu of two rows of three.
    3) it then asks me to choose a Track menu, but I dont want a second page, now I am lost . Guess I shall need to choose something as there is no 'pass' on this one, so choose 6 thumbs again.
    4) I choose frame, nav and background buttons.
    5) Menu composition..seems I can tell it I want just Track menu here, that should give me my track thumbs page only, having decided to have one episode per track.
Simulation however doesnt display a page of 6 thumbs when video stops.

I tried it with 6 tracks each of 1 file as well as 1 track of 6 files. Stumped each time.

Its just a question of knowing the right choices here.

    Thus ...Help !!!

I have managed this somehow in the past with another dvd I made when using TMPGenc DVD Author. I have also managed to chapter mark a recording of pop songs and have each song as a thumb on a menu a few pages long.

    Stumped this time.

One cannot go fully back and later choices made, I cant see a way of starting fully over if simulation shows the wrong desired effect page options wise for the menus that appear. Getting the choices right first time is crucial.
