TMPGenc 4.0 Express Scene Detection

Happy New Year! This is my first post.

I am using the latest TMPG Express 4.0. It works nicely encoding files, but I can't get automatic scene detection to work. As I understand it, it's supposed to be activated by double-clicking on the timeline in edit mode. Nothing happens. Am I missing something, or is this a result of using the software on Windows 7 64 bit?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Hopefully they will correct this part of the TMPG 4.0 Express help files.
