    weird XViD?

Hi, I don't know whether I'm posting in the right place, but...

One of my DVDs got warped or got some other problem so that it wouldn't play back in my DVD player, so I asked my friend if he could give me a copy of his so I could use it instead of my DVD (and still have my DVD so its legal).

He gave me a DVD with a stack of files that he told me were just XviD, but it has two folders called 'CD1' and 'CD2' that have a filename thats suchandsuchmovie.r0. It goes from r0 to about r40 or so (I don't have the disc with me at the moment). Along with this it has a .rar and a... .sfv? file with it in each folder as well.

None of these play in PowerDVD or anything else that plays DVDs or VCDs AFAIK, so what program do I need to merge all these back together and put them on VCD so I can watch them on my TV as I used to before my DVD went weird?

Thanks for any help. If I posted in the wrong place please move it to the correct area.
