I have alot of divx movies that i want to convert to vcd's. I have already tried some using Tmpgenc., but there are a couple of settings that are still not totally clear to me.
1. All the divx movies are at 23.975 fps (done with ivtc or forced film), but if i plan to play them on a stand alone dvd player connected to an ntsc tv should i select 23.975 or 29.975 as the framerate in tmpgenc.
2. What should the aspect ratio be under the video tab and under the advanced tab, because if i select the "vcd ntsc film" template the "aspect ratio" under the video tab is locked at 4:3 while most of the divx are 16:9, also should the "source aspect ratio" under the advanced tab be the same (as the aspect ratio in the video tab) are should it be 1:1 VGA.
3. What is the effect of the "field order" if i would select the wrong one.
Thanks, Robert
