audio sync
I split a avi file in half using virtual dub. direct stream was selected for both audio and video.I played both new avi's and audio video spot on. Now I converted both new AVI files using tmpgenc, one at a time to vcd / mpeg1 format, using the wizard. I now have 2 mpg files approx 45 minutes in length each. Now heres the strange thing. THe first file when played back starts to lose video time against the audio. So by the last ten minutes you can hear what the picture is about to show you.I t is out by about 15 seconds. The second file, converted in the way, stays in sync all the way with no problems. Weird or is there a simple explaination? I have not touched settings as wizard does it all for you.
