Hi everyone,
I'm trying to convert an avi to mpeg1 to create a XVCD.
I want to encode Audio with 96 kbps, Video with 950 kbps.
Therefore I changed the template "VideoCD (PAL).mcf" to
unlock the kbps-values in Audio and Video, so I'm able to
choose the values in the Program Window and leave all the
other VCD-stuff untouched.
Following Pegasys' formula for calculating filesizes:
"File size (Kb) = (Video+Audio) x (2048/2018) x sec/8"
I calculate: (950+96) x (2048/2018) x 6224 sec./8 = 825.886 KB.
Which should be 807 MB.
Why does TMPGEnc always create an .mpg-file that's 1 GB?
Please help.
