Hi, this is my first post, and I'm glad I found you, especially those who like helping newbies
I have tried using TMPGEnc, as suggested in loads of answers here to create files for VCD from my camcorder files. It allows me to create MPEGs from the files that I have downloaded straight from my camera, but when I have edited them, with Premiere, and exported them back to .avi files TMPGEnc won't even open them.
I get an error window saying - File "file name" can not open, or unsupported.
I have checked the properties of the files that work against those that don't, and they appear to be almost identical, the audio bitrates are different, but neither is 48,000. Apart from that they seem to be the same.
The first MPEG I created succesfully burned to CD with Nero, so it would be great to be able to create MPEGs from my edited .avi files.
Any ideas?
Any help very gratefully received.
