I've repeated this process many times following guides with no luck whatsoever to create a SVCD compliant mpeg2.
I started out with a XVID format AVI with mp3 audio I believe. I extracted the audio out and converted it to wav. Tried to mux using TMPGEnc, the video only avi with the audio only wav and the end result is a mpg that does not play audio when playing with DIVX player or Windows Media.
So I try a different step. This time I converted the wav into mp2 format and mux the mp2 with the video only avi and the end result is the same.
I followed all the steps carefully and exactly and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe SVCD don't like me. I have burnt a couple of VCDs, and they were mostly successful. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Can someone help me please. This is all too frustrating.
