Error correction

I have a DVD video file that contains a lot of freezes. In those, the audio & video freeze for about a second.

main debug: audio output starving, playing silence

Now I have a different source of audio for this DVD. If I sync this w/ the dvd, using VirtualDub, will these freezes be gone?

And which error mode do I select then?

Error modes:

• Report all errors
• Conceal errors and resume decoding at next keyframe
• Decode even if the result may be garbled
