STRANGE problem with TMPGENG (or what else ?)

I'm trying to backup a small part of a DVD on SVCD. I don't have bitrate problems because the part that interest me is small.

    I'm using DVDx 1.8a > Avisynth 1.0b5 > Tmpgenc 2.52

That DVD is 2.35:1 anamorphic. My problem is this: I make the mpg (svcd) file, then burn on a cdrw with nero. Then I put this CD in my dvd player (Pioneer 535). It plays well, it's perfect, but it is shorter then the original DVD.

If I play the original DVD and check the height of the images on my TV, it is 24 cm. If I play the SVCD, the height is 22.5 cm.

The difference is small, so I don't think I've made macro-errors in DVDx or Tmpgeng settings (I've tried other settings, but the final aspect is VERY different from the original). What can I do ?

Someone has seen this thing before ? Try to check the height of your svcd, maybe you have this problem too, and never seen it (it's a small difference !)

    Someone has a solution ?

I can write here all settings, if it may help.
    Thank you !
