thanks for opening my problem poser which i dont know the answer ok i downloaded avi clips of time machine and 13 ghosts they both play ok on media player but as soon as i go to tmpg and start encoding they get purpleish colour flashes on them especially on dark scenes how can i get rid of them and they r a bit blocky on some clips.ive tried various settings on tmpg but with no luck i normally set template to vcd pal higher slow quality- 16.9 624 pal- non interlaced -centre keep size racio- then name output fgile then start and hey presto purple clouds on the film every now and again if some 1 can tell me in a basic way were im going wrong it would b very much appreciated. tried vcdhelp but thats were i started.
