I have a Panasonic DVD-RV21 player for playing DVD's on my TV. I tried burning an SVCD just to see if it would work. I thought the chances were pretty slim since most DVD players don't support SVCD. Turns out that it can read the SVCD but it is really choppy. It plays for half a second, then stops for half a second, etc. The funny thing is that when I put it in fast-forward the sound works perfectly, and the video is a little bit better but still too fast. Seems like the guy four posts behind me had the same problem except I'm using NTSC, not PAL. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or is my DVD player never going to be able to play SVCD's right.
