MMV files to DivX
Can someone help me with MMV to DivX conversion? I have a new Sony Micro MV camcorder. I would like to edit my video and save to Divx so I can store it on CDs instead of DVDs. I have Movieshaker editing software, Pinnacle Studio 8, Divx Pro 5.0, Virtualdub, and Gordian Knot. If I understand correctly, the MMV format is a special MPEG 2 format. I bought this cam for its amazing compactness and the fact that it would be easier to make DVDs to store the vid. Thanks for any help.
