Not just a very good DVD -> DivX guide, but a guide with instruction videos too!

If you are looking for an easy DVD->DivX guide, perhaps
also a DV/VHS to DivX guide then http://www.edited_by_uncasms is the solution. It does not only use very clear isntruction images but uses instruction videos to. So all you basically have to do is watch these movies and repeat it! Isn't that what everyone wants?
