Hello,
I have video clips shot in both Xvid .asf mpeg4 and .avi mpeg4. They have audio tracks. I've run into problems building movies out of them. The output movies playback fine on Windows MediaPlayer, but I want to use the camera to display the movies on tv or tape on vcr. To retain the quality I end up with files somewhat larger than the total of the clips, and they either won't playback at all on the cameras used to shoot the videos, or have unacceptable quality problems.
To aviod being an irritating newbie, I've looked around this site, but not at everything. However, I haven't found discussion of this sort of issue. Could someone point me to where to find such information, or would it be appropriate to describe the problem in greater detail here?
