Hi,
I'm using AutoGK set at Target Quality of 100% and Minimum Width
of 720. How come I can't have the same the original quality as the
DVD even at maximum AutoGk quality at 720x544 (maximum
resolution). With 100% quality, Mpeg4 should copy every pixel
bits of the DVD frames. So the quality should be the same as the
original with improved encoding. But it isn't, there is very subtle loss
of quality in the AutoGK copy. I'd like to understand the exact
technical explanation of what happens in the pixel bits
duplication of the Mpeg4 (AutoGK Xvid) of the DVD and why
the quality is not the same as the original even if target quality
is 100%.
Also how do you create XVID (or other encoders) with the original
exact quality as a DVD?
This is just theoretical understand and not piracy or something. Thanks.
