Hi,
I am new to x.264. Im trying to use staxrip to convert some mpeg2 video into x.264, but the problem is that after conversion the video is heavily interlaced.
The original mpeg2 video doesnt seem interlaced at all.
I try to use the "deinterlace" filter in staxrip, but that just makes it say "x264 requires YV12 input. Roght-click the filters. Select 'Add' and choose Misc/Convert to YV12'.
I have of course done this but it still says the same thing.
I tried to use the "quick Deinterlace" filter, it works to some extent but it stretches out the video, making it unwatchable.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
