OK, so my goal is to take an DivX/XviD file and edit the sound.
I edited a few files fine( some TV episodes) but now a common problem is when I open the file in VDub, it gives me the whole "VBR Audio detected" crap, so I export the WAV file(so I can edit it and encode it back to the video, CBR)
But my problem is that the exported WAV is sometimes like a minute shorter than the video! Sometimes it cuts off the end, and most of the time it causes GLITCH type sounds to occur throughout the entire WAV file! Why is this? VDub even recommends a WAV export and re-encoding of the audio on VBR videos....
Please help me, it would be GREAT if I could get this working!
Maybe I could use another program to export audio?
Thanks for any replies!
