Error -2010:the movie contains some invalid data?

Hey ya

Im trying to play an MP4 clip in Quicktime on my pc but i keep getting the following message '2010:the movie contains some invalid data'

Not sure what it means or how i can get it to play

Any ideas?

welcome to the forum

QT is a sorry, sluggish excuse for a media player. download & install a recent ffdshow build and use media player classic or just VLC for playback, should play fine

I have the same problem trying to open a file with a .3gp extension, I got QTPro and still can view it, but a friend of mine can with out having Pro, I already tried the free version and still can look at it

Get rid of QT.Install QT Alternative. Take Anon's advice and get Media Player Classic and FFDShow.
