testing encoders cce and HC(remainders later)

ripped 5th element with dvdshrink removing undesired audios to be used as source:
full movie(with menu less undesired audio track)
and no compression= 4,174Mb

Rb adjusts:
3 clicks mode,CCE 2.5 (for first test),no filters.
hitting prepare came one advice:
"warning,the input directory is already small enought to fit on a dvd-5.
no compression is necessary.continue anyway?"
this is what i want,compress without need

- HIGH/LOW/TYPICAL Bitrates: 3.993/600/3.178 Kbs

what more i have to do before start?

there is no sense in *proceeding* this process

as the use of tools like shrink or rebuilder is to reduce the data in order to fit on a 4.37 media there is NOTHING to be done in this case

due to preprocessing/stripping the amount of data is below 4.37 already and that's why rebuilder warns you

rebuilder would, however, let you go on with the encoding simply because one might want to use some filtering which isnt possible without encoding the entire data

in the first sign yes but i have my doubts because each encoder will encode free without bore about final space,they will only encode....as i wrote,this is the idea.

later i will load the main movie 2 times to see how each encoder will work to compare the source with this first step without size "preocupations" and the last encoding the "double" main movie.
we will see how really each encoder can do!

how big is the input data and what about the average bitrate?

this is the complete movie UncasMS,
was only ripped with shrink to hdd without compression.
let me explain better: this dvd region4(Brasil) have 2 sides.
side A(16:9)is what i ripped 4,174Mb and side B(4:3)have one dts track but my dvd is damaged in side B,is impossible to read.

loading the ripped folder in RB show me
video title set VTS_01 4.174MBytes, 16:9.

but then either side does provide you nothing that needs to be reduced!?

the side B have more size but can't be read
and full side A have 4.07Gb(hd ripped folder size 4.377.313.280 bytes),nothing more.

Not sure I understand, but if you want to encode it down for example, just set TargetSectors in the ini file.

TargetSectors=1,465,000 in the options part of the ini file.

run very soft,cce turn the pc very heavy and lazy!

It's a very good encoder and you can't beat the price. I did th Pianist with it the other day (2hr 22 mins) and it looked better than the source and it was very hard to tell diff between it and Pro2.

hi all

i was running with HC step 31 from 36(total)and the energy gone(is raining hard here).
when it back i run RB again to encode the remainders steps but restart from step 33 and not from 31.
now i have from 1 to 30 and from 33 to 36.
if i hit encode i got the message: "[21:40:11] Phase II ENCODING completed in 0 minutes."
what can i do to run this missed steps?
