with 4 working dvd burners and my benq 1620 spare in reserve, I didn't buy any, beige is a nono as everything is in black, my lg and 1620 are already beige

I don't really care about the color anymore, as I have a mix now. But, I wonder if the tray is black? I had read on the forums that it matters as to stray light bouncing around inside from the laser, & that a black tray would reflect less than a lighter color one...

            Your thoughts?

Ok let me re phrase that, I was told that the 1620 wasnt worth buying so my question is what is the difference between the 3 , 1650, 1640, 1620?

I would have to give the 1620 the edge in durability but the 1650 for features?
the 1640 was probably the best overall

                    close call!

40 burn best for R+, 55 for R- and it rip better then 40 ( this is only base on Ty 02) that the one I have the most

20 and 40 can burn junky blank but not 55

I bought an other 1650 I know I like that one and I was trying to figure out which as a second to grab to I thought I would try the 1620 for the other computer.
