Over the next several years the classic DVD format will be phased out. Blu-ray is already out. Is there anyone out there working on cracking the new format?

I don't even know anyone with a blu ray player yet. Personally i think classic dvd format will be around for awhile. Blu ray is obviously better quality, but not as big of a jump like vhs to dvd. From what i predict i will be using classic dvd and windows xp for as long as i can.Comment

Why release films when hardware is not available? So far, I have only seen Blu Ray computer drives which cost £650!!! Even these cannot play Blu Ray as no software can play the discs.
Blank Blu Ray Recordable discs are £15 each and a Blu Ray RW is £20.
Blu Ray is supposed to be officially out around November in the UK.Comment
