Excellent, need to upgrade to big screen, need to buy Blu-ray/HD and need to buy their media before I can even think of using this........

You may want to hold off for a while, till some of the issues are work out.

Cyberlink Power DVD 7.2 and 7.3 are not communicating the best with the latest release of AnyDVD, the latest one software program that rips HD and Blu-Ray disks.

Also, the freeware version still has many issues to work out.

But progress is being make and issues are being worked out. Too early for me to jump in with both feet yet. This old dog is going to sit back with mouth shut, eyes and ears opened in learning mode and see what happens.

Possibly because AnyDVD hasn't figured out the private key for these 2 software players (like they asserted they'd have no trouble with when they gleefully released and took extra $$$).
