copy HD DVD to DVD?

I would like to copy an HD DVD to regular DVD. Is this possible? Thanks.

You must have compressed the hell out of it to make it fit on a regular blank DVD.
Was it a single or dual layer blank disc??

Don't see the point really, if you need to resize to SD. Unless you mean archiving to MPEG4 and burning a data DVD.

is it possible to split it onto say 5 dvd's? and what program did you use to read the hd dvd,did you use a normal dvd burner or the new hd dvd burner for the computer (they cost $900)
