Blu Ray Collection Organizer

This is my first time EVER to post any message, whatsoever, on a Forum. I have a growing Blu Ray collection (about 300+) and I am searching for Free Software Download that enables me to keep track of my Movie Titles in addition to to seeing what results I genre. I am clueless to what movies I have, what Comedy's, Drama's, etc. I have.

By the way, I am also, somewhat of a novice, when it comes to downloading software. If the download process can't be easily performed, I'm afraid I won't be able to use it. So, obviously, I'm also looking for a program that is highly user friendly.

Any of you pros out there have any ideas for me?

There are quite a few around, while most were designed originally for DVDs, they work equally well for Blu-ray's now. It's hard to recommend one since it comes down to personal taste. Many are not free, in that the free version may be limited in function or the number of discs it allows to be included in the collection.

For a free one that you may want to try, have a look at EMDB:

Personal Video Database has some nice features. It can be a bit quirky, but it's free:

As you can see at the link, there's a forum where you can ask questions how to use it and set it up.
It has IMDB info fetch. But it also has many user-written plugins for non-English databases and cover art sites. One nice feature is creation of hard copy print-out with several styles including HTML Table. Good for printing out hard copy to throw in the DJ Case.
