When I burn a DVD using RecordNow! ver. 7.3 with my HP dvd640c I get the following error message:
Microsoft Visual Basic C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error: RecordNow.exe
Application requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
The DVD is good. But - I can't eject it unless I reboot the computer!
This occurs after the write phase and just before the verify. If I disable verify I don't have the problem. My HP dvd200i works fine so it must have something to do with the burner. The 640c is an 8.0x with Lightscribe. The 200i is a 2.4x. I believe I have the latest firmware upgrade. Device Manager reports the burner as a 640c - "c" being the latest firmware in HP's web site.
I don't have another burning application to try.
Anyone know what might be the cause??
