You would need an AGP port - I know I don't have one, so I had to get a more expensive PCI card. Check that before you buy.

Onboard video? What computer? Often you can specify how much ram
          is shared from the system.

I just got done reading about that from what I gather it makes more sense to leave the card I have in there. I just wanted to get a little more out of it and keep it as a good second computer after I get my new one what I have now is a Dell Dimension 2400. I did do one thing I went out yesterday and got a 160 gig HD for it and I am going to put it in today or tomorrow

You could get an X300 PCI-E. Probably about double, but still cheap.

You won't find a pci card that will beat that.

latest drivers and good to go!
intel extreme onboard graphics are pretty good

It's a pleasure to see something without a problem.
That'll make a very good second computer and the 160 gig hard drive
will be a big help, if you are limping along with the original 40 gig.

"One thing that is immediately noticed upon opening up the Dimension 2400 is that it lacks much future expansion room. Specifically, there is no place to add an extra hard disk, unless you were to jury-rig one onto the spare 5.25" drive bay. "

                            drive brackets?

You're welcome BR7! I say that out of experiance - I bought an AGP card on clearance and was surprised that "it didn't fit". Luckily the store let me return it but many are not that nice!
