Hello everyone,
I hope this question is not too esoteric, but as i am learning about cpu's, i have come across this phrase and i do not know what it means (this is all in an attempt to help choose between p4 prescott 630 and an appropriately priced amd cpu for my new video system!!)
paragraph starts with...
Typically, a modern processor will divide etc...
but the statement i don't understand is this last bit...
Because simpler stages cause less electron propagation delay, clock speeds can push higher.
cheers
