Yes I do, my sons computer is networked to mine both computers have 2 hard drives.

We have an older pent 3 also with windows 98 for my son to play some of his older games that XP Pro doesnt seem to like. That pc also has 2 hard drives but is not net worked and never on line. This pc is not used all the time so I defrage those hard drive about 2 to 3 times per year.

Also good for storing banking account infor and things that I dont want hacked. LOL

we had a state of the art game in 97/98 written for w95, the company never patched it for W98, when I first got XP I dug the sucker out after I read about compatibility mode(I had been reading about XP fo almost a year at the ms newgroups).

game like myst, with jim belushi, cher, robin williams, bunch of puzzles mazes
tests. Yes it worked great, after 4 years of hardware improvement everything flew. Never got far with it and a P133 and 32 megs of ram and 8 meg vid card.

It is nice just to have one for storing important documents and bank statements credit card info things like that. That is never on line, hackers these days and ID theft. can never be too careful.

Some of the old ones are a least still good for storing data.

I have four computers that I use, three desk and one lap, and I Defrag every one of them at least once a month. My main one sometimes gets it every two weeks, depending on how much I've been backing up and just goofing off with downloading trash.

I couldn't even imagine trying to Defrag 2100+ frgmented files, that's probably around six or seven hours worth of work.

That is the problem I'm having right now on one of my drives LT, only 1.7 gigs of free space so I can't run the defragger.

I don't like the way the Windows Defrag needs the extra space. I use Perfect Disk which doesn't require the extra space.

This is a good free defragger.
